2025 is shaping up to be the year of Tate McRae. Her much anticipated third studio album, So Close To What, will be releasing on February 21. Later this year, she’ll be going on her first headlining arena tour, the Miss Possessive tour. Leading up to the album’s release, she put out singles “2 hands,” “It’s ok I’m ok” — and now she’s turning up the heat with the latest, “Sports car.”
This high-energy track is all about sex and adrenaline, featuring her sultry vocals and infectious pop hooks. She released the track with a fashionable music video, including electric choreography, reminding us all that her roots are in dance and once competed on So You Think You Can Dance.
